Office 365 & Humber Email

Humber uses Office 365. Office 365 is the preferred method for accessing all the Microsoft products you already know. It uses web-based services, also known as the cloud, and is accessible on a variety of platforms.

ALWAYS use Humber email and Blackboard when communicating with students. It is required that communications with students dealing with performance, grades, enrollment at Humber, project requirements, class cancellations and updates be delivered through either our Humber email or Blackboard. In short, if you are emailing a student or a colleague as a professor, you must use our tools in order to protect the integrity of the content and be protected in the case of a violation of the security of the communication.

Social media does play a role in many of our programs, and we encourage appropriate participation in student groups. Anything beyond general conversation must be conducted through official Humber tools.
