The Audition Preparation Workshop is an intensive one-day event, offered twice during the first weekend in November. Whether you participate online (November 4 only) or in-person (November 5 only), you will work directly with Humber Music faculty to review and prepare for Humber Music’s entrance audition requirements.
The virtual and in-person workshops will cover several areas, including rudimentary and jazz music theory, ear training, and performance technique, among others. You will end your day knowing what to expect at your music audition and useful tips on how to prepare for a successful experience. As an additional bonus, the in-person event will include a live concert featuring some of Toronto’s top jazz musicians currently teaching at Humber College.
