1. Who is eligible to purchase the student subscription?
Any student in the Faculty of Media, Creative Arts, and Design can purchase it.

2. How much does it cost?
The subscription is $175 plus taxes for one year.

3. How do I purchase it?
Complete the form here: https://forms.office.com/r/Q0Qqm3ZYXJ.

4. What happens after I submit the form?
You’ll receive an email confirmation once your license has been added to your account, along with installation instructions.

5. How long does it take to get my license?
It usually takes 1 to 5 business days.

6. I received my license confirmation but can’t log in. What should I do?
Follow the steps in the Adobe Login Guide (Students).pdf carefully. If it still doesn’t work, contact us at fmcad@humber.ca.

7. I see a “Domain not found” error when logging in. What should I do?
Contact us at fmcadtech@humber.ca

8. Do I need a subscription to use Adobe Creative Cloud in campus labs?
No. You can use it for free in lab computers, but AI features will only work with a subscription.

9. Can I use Firefly for free in a lab?
No. Adobe AI features (including Firefly) require a subscription, even in campus labs.

10. Does the student license include Adobe Express?
Yes, Adobe Express is included.

11. Where can I get help with my Adobe Creative Cloud student account?
You can visit FMCAD Tech in the following locations:

  • North Campus: Rooms L161 and M109
  • Lakeshore Campus: Rooms A207R and FB111C

Wayfinding

Campus Compass is Humber’s new wayfinding app for iOS and Android mobile smart devices. The app helps you navigate your way around North campus to a wide range of features such as classrooms, parking pay stations, vending machines, eateries, ATMs, accessible routes and options around campus, and much more. The app even has a Find my Friend feature to connect you with your friends. The system has been designed for students and guests and has been optimized for tracking in common areas and learning environments. Lakeshore will also be included in the coming year.

With the file request feature in OneDrive, you can choose a folder where others can upload files using a link that you
send them. People you request files from can only upload files; they can't see the content of the folder, edit, delete,
or download files, or even see who else has uploaded files.

Just downloaded and installed Avid Media Composer and can't run the software due to recieving an error 13?
Follow the simple instructions below to resolve it.

  1. Open file explorer
  2. Open documents
  3. Find the folder called "Pro Tools"
  4. Right-click the file and click on delete
  5. Restart the software and it should run without any issues
