The project aims to enhance the understanding of Rick Hansen High School art students about the Humber College Interior Design program by providing insights into the team’s experiences throughout the past four years. The presentations delved into various aspects of the program, from the admission portfolio to internships and the four-year academic journey.
Key objectives include informing the students about the program, showcasing a diverse range of projects and software; elucidating the distinctions between interior design, interior decorating, and architecture; and an introduction to partis and concept exploration. Ultimately, the presentation provided a glimpse into the world of interior design and architecture, serving as a comprehensive resource for both prospective college students and high schoolers interested or unfamiliar about the field of interior design.
This poster encapsulates the team’s journey during the project, detailing the timeline, achievements, and showcasing examples of student work from in-class activities.
