Group lessons *NEW*:

Group lessons are a great way to introduce children and youth to a new musical instrument in a fun environment. In addition to learning musical skills and having fun, these courses help build cognitive and creative abilities, promoting problem-solving, coordination, and emotional expression through music.

We currently offering the following group classes:

Introduction to Piano:
This course introduces children to the piano keyboard and the fundamental elements of making music in a fun, engaging, and hands-on way. Students will develop music-reading skills while honing their listening and critical thinking abilities as they play simple songs. The course encourages students to approach music both from a theoretical perspective and through the intuitive process of mindful listening. By combining these approaches, students will gain a well-rounded understanding of how music works.

Introduction to Percussion
This course introduces children to drumming basics, focusing on rhythm, coordination, and timing. Students will learn how to start reading simple rhythms, play basic beats, and explore styles like Rock, Pop, Blues, Latin and Jazz. They'll develop hand and foot coordination, play along with others, and express creativity through rhythm. Students will learn to confidently play basic rhythms, participate in group performances, and express themselves musically through drumming.
