Humber programs offer unique work-integrated learning opportunities to prepare students for their future careers. Students apply what they’ve learned in class and in real world environments through a wide range of academic, community and industry partnerships. These work-integrated and experiential learning opportunities may include field placements, practicums, clinical placements, co-operative education work terms, internships, applied research projects, or service learning. Work Placement Criteria by Program

The Faculty of Media & Creative Arts has a number of programs with a mandatory work placement component. Work terms are generally completed within a scheduled time period in the final year of study.

*Work placements are normally full-time, 35-hours per week, during regular workplace hours. Accommodations can be made for students to complete hours on a part-time basis.
