Creating effective prompts directly influences the quality, relevance and accuracy of AI responses and is an essential future-focused skill for professionals in any industry. This micro-credential focuses on proven, effective prompting techniques with practical augmentation and implementation methods for AI tools. Participants will strategically leverage AI capabilities while maintaining their unique human perspective. Through hands-on experimentation and personalized projects, learners will discover the "jagged edge" between human and AI capabilities and critically evaluate AI-generated content. 

Competency Achieved

The earners of this micro-credential will be able to leverage AI tools to augment human capabilities in personal projects, demonstrating proficiency in effective prompting techniques, knowledge graph utilization, and critical analysis of AI-generated content while maintaining ethical considerations.

Delivery Format

This micro-credential consists of a weekly 2-hour online class over 4 weeks, with an additional 1-2 hours of self-study per module.  Learners should expect approximately 16 hours total to successfully complete the micro-credential.
